Why we built this

Email authentication is one of those topics where the documentation is dense, the acronyms are similar, and the consequences of getting it wrong are serious — missed customer emails, messages landing in spam, or worse, your domain being spoofed by scammers. Most tools that inspect SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records dump raw DNS output on you and expect you to decode it yourself.

We built DMARC Dashboard because we kept running into the same problem: a client would ask "is my email set up correctly?" and the answer would require three different tools, a bunch of manual DNS lookups, and a cheat sheet for interpreting what we found. So we built one tool that does all three checks, explains what each record means in plain English, and flags the specific things that need fixing — no signup, no limits, and no upsell to a "premium" tier.

Who's behind it

DMARC Dashboard is part of ModusOp, a platform for operations, bookings, and client management built for small businesses and agencies. We build free developer tools like this one because we use them ourselves when setting up client domains, and because giving back to the web community is the right thing to do when you've been around as long as we have.

The tool is built and maintained by JWWD, an Australian web development studio that handles the technical side of ModusOp. We've been building web software since the early 2000s and we care deeply about email deliverability — because when your email doesn't arrive, your business stops. Our other free tools

DMARC Dashboard is one of several free tools we run. If this one was useful, you might like the others — all of them free, no signup, and designed to give you clear answers fast:
